Change of Scenery!

My husband and I recently moved from the picturesque town of Bethel to a quieter area. We used to live right off a busy trucking route, and I can say with absolute certainty that I missed the quiet over the last several years. I forgot what quiet was. The loudest thing I've heard since we moved three weeks ago was a flock of migrating geese. I love the quiet! 

Moving wasn't something on the agenda for this year. We've been talking of downsizing; as empty nesters we no longer need a four-bedroom home, but change can be daunting. This place caught our eye and we jumped, all in, no turning back, and it's been great so far! I have a nice office space now and look forward to less noise while recording my audiobooks. I will not miss the truck traffic! We are still close to family, minus the Kentuckian, and it's a much better commute for my husband to go to work. Win win!
